We all must realize that all the preventative measures in the world will not stop these hidden zero days from destroying our security posture overnight. It’s time to beef up our “detect” mechanisms and deploy tools that can detect anomalous activity throughout your environments.”

Stop doing phishing tests against your employees (especially if it requires you to disable any security controls in your environment). Phishing assessments are demeaning and proven to not benefit the organizations security posture. Instead, focus on tooling to prevent as many phishes as possible, and add more phishing training more than the typical annual basis.”
