Enhancements to Cisco and Rittal Asset Discovery
We’ve made useful upgrades to the asset discovery process for Cisco switches, which now automatically detects and tracks power data. When it finds power data, new sensors will be set up to track it. Plus, we’ve improved the discovery for the Rittal CMC III monitoring system to spot a wider variety of environmental sensors.
New Version of Asset Tool Now Available
Explore the latest version of the Hyperview Asset Tool (hvat), now available for free on GitHub. This command-line program is designed for smooth data interaction within Hyperview. The updated version brings these enhanced features for improved functionality:
- Add update asset serial number subcommand
- Add bulk update asset serial number subcommand
- Update README file
- Update dependencies
- Code cleanup
