I can’t believe that KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2025 is just around the corner! Once again, I’m excited to meet up with my friends and colleagues again at this event dedicated to cloud native computing. This year the event is in London, England from April 1st to 4th at the Excel London. As a practitioner, tech enthusiast, end user, and open source contributor, I have a lot in common with many of the KubeCon attendees who’ll be joining me there. I’m also speaking in a session this year about Kubernetes Policy as Code (PaC). This post is a mini-guide for what to expect and the keynotes and talks I’m looking forward to attending myself.
What to Look for at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2025
As you probably already know, the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) runs KubeCon + CloudNativeCon events around the world (too many to list here!), so check those out if you can’t make it to London. These events are focused on Kubernetes, the open-source container orchestration platform, and the many related technologies in the cloud-native landscape. There are lots of activities and the overall environment is very inclusive, so attend with an open mind and be prepared to learn.
There’ll be co-located events (single-day, usually single track events) on April 1st: ArgoCon, CiliumCon, Cloud Native Telco Day, Cloud Native Wasm Day, Istio Day, Kubernetes Batch + HPC Day, Kubernetes on EDGE DAY, Linkerd Day, and Observability Day. Some are hosted by the CNCF while others are hosted by sponsors.
The event also offers scholarships, childcare, and food options for vegetarian and vegan attendees, helping ensure that anyone who wants to attend has the opportunity to take part fully. All sessions are recorded and will be uploaded to the CNCF YouTube channel within a few days of the event.
There are too many great keynotes and speakers to choose from, so I’ll just highlight a few that I think look especially interesting.

- “Science at Light Speed: Cloud Native Infrastructure for Astronomy Workloads” with Carolina Lindqvist, System Specialist at EPFL on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 10:12 – 10:27 BST, Level 0 | ICC Auditorium
KubeCon EU Sessions
There are tons of sessions covering different topics, so no one can attend them all. Here are a few I’m excited about:

Learn at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2025
There’s a lot of great networking and learning ahead of us at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe this year, and I’m excited to be a part of it once again. Our discussion on Policy as Code promises to be lively, and I hope it brings people together in adopting PaC to ensure Kubernetes security, compliance, and governance.
At Fairwinds, we enable our clients, open source users, and contributors to make the most of Kubernetes for infrastructure management. We remain deeply committed to ongoing learning and the evolution of Kubernetes and cloud native architectures as part of the cloud native community. Hope to see you at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe — and please say hello (you can book a meeting with me if you’d like to talk business)!
