Silicon Valley software giant Adobe on Tuesday shipped patches for critical flaws in multiple products, including a dozen issues that expose Adobe Commerce users to code execution attacks.

As part of its scheduled batch of Patch Tuesday updates, Adobe documented at least 12 security problems in the widely deployed Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento) product and warned that successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution, security feature bypass and arbitrary file system read.

A critical-severity bulletin from Adobe said the Magento Open Source product is also vulnerable to the documented issues.

The company also shipped fixes for four documented bugs that could lead to exploits targeting the Adobe Experience Manager software.

“These updates resolve vulnerabilities rated important and moderate.  Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could result in arbitrary code execution and security feature bypass,” Adobe said in a separate advisory

The Patch Tuesday rollout also includes fixes for a critical flaw in Adobe Animate that could cause code execution problems  in the context of the current user.

The updates also cover a major bug in Adobe Substance 3D Designer that also exposes users to code execution risks.

Adobe said it was not aware of any exploits in the wild for any of the issues addressed in this month’s updates.
