Less than two dozen cybersecurity merger and acquisition (M&A) deals were announced in March 2025.

An analysis conducted by SecurityWeek shows that 405 cybersecurity-related mergers and acquisitions were announced in 2024. Check out the detailed report

Here is a list of the most important cybersecurity M&A deals announced in March 2025:

Armis acquires Otorio

Cyber exposure management firm Armis announced the acquisition of Otorio to expand its offering with operational technology (OT) and cyber-physical systems (CPS) security solutions. The transaction was valued in the range of $120 million.

Cyber Guru acquires Mantra

Italy-based cybersecurity awareness training firm Cyber Guru announced buying Mantra, a French start-up specialising in employee awareness and protection. Cyber Guru’s solutions help change employee behaviours, manage human risk, and achieve compliance. Following the acquisition, Cyber Guru will integrate Mantra’s fully automated security awareness training solutions into its offering. 

Google Cloud to acquire Wiz

Google Cloud is acquiring cloud security giant Wiz in a $32 billion all-cash deal. The deal is expected to close in 2026 and Wiz security products will remain accessible across all major cloud platforms.

Forcepoint to acquire Getvisibility

Forcepoint announced that it’s acquiring Getvisibility, an Irish company specializing in AI-powered Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and Data Detection and Response (DDR). Forcepoint’s Data Security Everywhere platform unifies visibility and control over sensitive data, while Getvisibility enhances users’ ability to identify and mitigate data risk. The companies have been working together for several years and their solutions will be further integrated following the acquisition. 

Integrity360 acquires Holiseum

Ireland-based managed security and incident response provider Integrity360 has acquired France-based Holiseum. The deal will enable Integrity360 to grow in France and continental Europe, as well as to expand its offering with OT and IoT security services.

Jamf to acquire Identity Automation

Apple device management firm Jamf has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire identity and access management (IAM) solutions provider Identity Automation for roughly $215 million in cash. Identity Automation technology will enable Jamf to expand the capabilities of its platform.

Lumu acquires Maltiverse

Continuous network visibility and defense solutions provider Lumu Technologies has acquired Spain-based threat intelligence firm Maltiverse, which specializes in curated threat feeds and IoCs. The deal enables Lumu to enhance its real-time threat intelligence capabilities and to provide deeper compromise context.

Nightwing acquires Roka Security

Nightwing, the cybersecurity and intelligence company that spun out of defense giant RTX (Raytheon), announced buying managed security services provider Roka Security. The deal enhances Nightwing’s ability to provide technical training, secure data transport solutions, and critical infrastructure.

PartnerOne acquires NetWitness from RSA

Enterprise software group PartnerOne has acquired threat detection and response solutions provider NetWitness from RSA. PartnerOne said it will help NetWitness improve its technology and increase its capabilities, while providing it a forever-home and financial backing.

RMC Global acquires Shearer and Associates

Risk management and industrial cybersecurity solutions firm RMC Global announced the acquisition of Shearer and Associates, an engineering and cybersecurity firm specializing in Department of Defense and critical infrastructure projects. The deal enables RMC to expand its ICS security and security engineering capabilities.
