This approach supports seamless integration of technology and business systems, said Siroui Mushegian, chief information officer at Barracuda.

As “customer zero,” Mushegian ensures direct product use to refine the tools. This hands-on approach enables her team to identify potential challenges and relay real-time feedback to product engineers before products reach the broader market. This helps improve usability and functionality, she said.

Hands-on experience with AI tools is essential for maximizing their potential. “Every product out there has a bit of AI in it, and I want to understand it,” she said.
