Sponsored Post Research firm IDC estimates that over 53 percent of organizations are now mostly or completely digital native.

It’s a situation that brings considerable advantages but also challenges in safeguarding the high volumes of sensitive data which constantly traverse multiple on- and off-premises locations and end user devices. The good news is that those challenges could be solved with crypto-agility, automation, and quantum-safe encryption.

You can find out more by tuning in to this webinar where you’ll hear Jennifer Glenn, Research Director for the IDC Security and Trust Group at IDC, in discussion with Senior Director and Digital Trust Specialist at DigiCert Dean Coclin. Jennifer and Dean explore IDC’s recently published white paper – ‘The evolution of Digital Business’ – and consider how best to manage data security across the multiple, different types of connections used by the average enterprise.

IDC defines digital trust as the ability to securely share data between employees, partners and suppliers in line with data security regulations and compliance requirements – and give users confidence in the digital infrastructure provided. Yet the research firm estimates that only 11 percent of organizations are implementing quantum-safe encryption, with a quarter having no idea where to start. Costs and a lack of standards are also often cited as a major barrier to their adoption.

Crypto-agility, which allows for quick adaptation of cryptographic methods without any major overhaul to organizations existing infrastructure, could be the best way forward, argue Jennifer and Dean. Not only does this allow time and cost savings, it can also lead to improved security and the ability to automate certificate management across the business.

Illustrated by real word examples, Jennifer and Dean will give you a better idea of how crypto-agility, automation, and quantum-safe encryption can help your organization stay ahead of threats, streamline operations, and ensure a secure, compliant future.
